The DISTEMIST gazetteer contains main terms and synonyms from the relevant branches of Snomed-CT for the grounding of disease mentions. There are mentions belonging to Snomed-CT hierarchies such as disorder, finding, or morphological abnormality.

The DISTEMIST Gazetteer is also used as an additional resource in the SocialDisNER task. 

Format

Tab-separated file with the following columns:

  • code: Snomed-CT ID
  • language
  • term: string mention
  • semantic_tag: Snomed-CT hierarchy
  • mainterm: binary field, indicating whether the term is a main term, or not
