Soccer & Running Club

Soccer & Running Club (K-5th)

We offer two clubs in one!  Running and Soccer Club with NSTW Sports Camp. The Running Club is game-based with lots of fun activities including sharks and minnows, different tag games, and relay races. Our Soccer Club plays lots of game activities and does 1v1, 2v2, and the numbers game. We make the club fun and challenging for all ages and fitness levels. (No weekend games - after school program meets one day per week).

ASP Karate (K-5th)

Marietta Martial Arts's ASP Karate is a great way for students to get introduced to martial arts. In our weekly class, kids love the kicking and punching from Karate. But it's more than kicking and punching.....it's about life skills. Skills like Respect, Focus, and Self-Discipline (aka self-control).

KIDZKEYS PIANO (K-3RD)

Join KidzKeys-Piano Club this semester and learn piano skills that will last a lifetime! KidzKeys gives kids in K-3rd Grade the chance to explore and express their own creativity - all while having fun learning piano with friends! We bring keyboards for every student, so all your child needs to do is get excited about learning piano! Our Color-Coded lessons are crafted to help K-3rd grade students quickly learn to read music on their own! With the help of our encouraging and highly trained teachers, your child will learn 5 new songs each semester.

Building the Foundation

Building the Foundation, from Kumon Tutoring, will help your child learn and master math and reading concepts to help put them grade levels ahead of their peers! Math concepts include counting and number sequencing, addition and subtraction, multiplication and division, fractions, order of operations, positive and negative numbers, solving equations, graphs, algebra – elementary to advanced, trigonometry and logarithms, probability and statistics. Reading concepts include pre-reading skills, vocabulary, grammar and punctuation, sentence building, reading comprehension, summarizing, interpretation, and critical thinking. Monthly Installment Plans Available.

Jr. Builders

A ONE-OF-A-KIND COURSE offering ZERO-screen time coding & robotics. You don’t have to be in front of a computer to learn coding. Buildy Bot makes programming and building easy for kids. With building pieces and tools designed for small hands and a unique block coding board, children can enjoy hands-on/minds-on exploration.  Each week will bring a new challenge and a chance to invent and create. This is the perfect course to encourage continued exploration in STEM.

LEGO Spike Robotics

With a hands-on/minds-on approach, students are encouraged to work in teams of two and brainstorm to find creative solutions to weekly challenges. Through a process of selecting, building, testing, and evaluating, they will improve their problem-solving skills to accomplish exciting and fun robotic tasks. They will use their new skills to meet project-based challenges such as creating remote controls, smashing barriers and facing off with their opponents in a LEGO® Sumo Battle. No experience with robotics or programming required.

Cheerleading Club

Join us for a semester of after school cheer club! Students will focus on the fundamentals of cheerleading including cheers, dance routines, jumps, and stunts. Your student will showcase what they have learned at a local cheer competition. This club is open to all grades (K-5th), girls and boys. Cheerleading Uniform Included!

Little Vet Cat School

Students will role-play the key responsibilities of a veterinarian and perform a whiskers-to-tail exam on their newly “adopted” plush cat. These future veterinarians will learn about animal body language, maintaining a healthy environment such as proper litterbox placement, create a cat toy, and design a vet clinic.

Equine Medicine School

Now students can learn all about horses and their care from the newest Little Medical School Equine program. Students will adopt and name their plush horse and learn the anatomy and maintenance of a horse. They will also learn basic horse nutrition, riding styles, gaits and role-play and basic key responsibilities of an equine veterinarian.

Rocky Mount Chorus

Calling all 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade musicians: Come Sing with the Rocky Mount Chorus this school year! We will perform concerts at the school, in the community, and compete at the Cobb County Choral Festival. Music selections include folk songs, show tunes, seasonal music, songs in other languages and more! Chorus meets from September through March.

Our program incorporates a variety of games, role play, writing, reading and music into our daily curriculum in order to generate and maintain the interest of each child.  We use a positive reinforcement classroom management style to build self-esteem and maximize student participation and productivity. Class size is limited to an appropriate student-teacher ratio geared toward a positive and effective interaction between the teacher and students, and optimal classroom management.  Student placement is based on grade level, ability and prior Spanish language experience.

Before Clubs Start

  • Every student participating in enrichment clubs after school must be Registered for ASP. There is a $20 Annual Non-Refundable Registration Fee. This is to prepare for the possibility that you or a guardian is late or unable to pickup your child at the time of dismissal.
  • Tuition: You will only be charged ASP tuition by Cobb County if your child stays in ASP.

  • Please send a note with your child every day that they stay after school for a FunClubs' program.
  • Program instructors will meet students in the gym and lead them to their classrooms.

Dismissal After Clubs

  • Dismissal Location 1st Hour Classes: ASP Clubs will dismiss via the covered play area outside of the cafeteria.
  • Dismissal Location 2nd Hour Classes: Parents will need to come inside the school to the ASP Desk to meet your student.
  • Dismissal Time for most programs will be at 3:30pm (please review your confirmation email for specific class times or log into your FunClubs Active Account). If you student is in a 2nd hour program, dismissal will be at 4:40pm.
  • Car-Pool Tag: Rocky Mount Administration requires that you have your Rocky Mount car tag in carpool. If you don't have one, you can pick one up from the front office.
  • Students will only be signed out to their parent or guardian who must be on the pick-up list on that student’s registration. Alternatively, the parent or guardian may send a note authorizing an alternative pick-up person.
  • Students participating in ASP will be signed into ASP following club dismissal.
  • Students will be provided a snack after club if they are returning to ASP.

Cancellations & Absences

  • FunClubs after school programs will follow the public school calendar. Classes will not meet on scheduled holidays, teacher work days, early release days, etc.
  • In the event of inclement weather, FunClubs will follow the public school closing decisions.
  • When a class is canceled for any reason, FunClubs will attempt to schedule a make up class if the semester has additional weeks available (before the Winter Break or Summer Break).
  • If your child will be absent for any reason, please contact your school's front office and they will notify your child's instructor. Please note that we are unable to provide makeup classes for individual students who are absent.

  2. You can place multiple programs in your cart, including classes for different children.
  3. If you are looking for a Specific Program, Filter by SESSION TYPE on the left-hand side.
  4. Classes can be viewed by SESSION LIST or CALENDAR, which will allow you to see all program schedules at once.
  5. Once you hit the red CONTINUE button, you will be able to assign your selected programs to different children, if applicable.
  6. Any discounts, including automatic discounts such as sibling discounts, and provider coupon codes, will be added on the checkout page (the last page of the registration).

Frequently Asked Questions

HOW MUCH DO CLASSES COST?

The tuition for each class is set by the individual instructor. Program tuition can vary based on the materials provided, length of the class, or speciality of the course topic. To preview tuition rates and class schedules, click SIGN UP.

HOW LONG DO PROGRAMS LAST?

Time: Most after school enrichment classes last 50-60 minutes long. Some programs offer a 2nd session or longer class times depending on their lesson plans and course topic. Semester: Most classes meet once a week for 10-12 weeks, depending on the number of days available. In general, all FunClubs after school programs will follow the public school calendar. Classes will not meet on scheduled holidays, teacher work days, early release days, etc. To see the time, day, and schedule details for each class, click SIGN UP.

DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS OR DISCOUNTS?

YES! When you enroll your child you will have the option of paying in full or choosing our convenient 4-Month Payment Plan (available for most programs). Some participating classes also offer multiple discounts, including Early-Bird, Sibling, Multi-Season, and Referral Rewards.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY?

Before registration closes at your school you have the opportunity to cancel your child's program by logging into your ActiveNet account. All cancellations incur a 5% fee with the remaining balance refunded to the form of payment used during registration. After registration closes, FunClubs will follow the Standard Refund Policy for each Program Provider and consider requests on a case-by-case basis. We will not issue credits or refunds due to missed classes or scheduling conflicts arising from sporting events, other enrichment classes, etc. Every effort will be made to reschedule classes that are cancelled due to inclement weather.
