A MESSAGE FROM OUR CEO

Winter 2022

Dear WOLCS Family:

I am happy to report that we finally have 100 percent of our students back in the building throughout the school day! In keeping with safety protocols, student desks have been reconfigured to comply with social distancing guidelines. While at school, the proper use of a face mask is required for students, employees, and essential visitors. Additionally, students and staff are tested weekly for COVID-19. For now, WOLCS has restricted non-essential visitors, volunteers, and activities involving outside groups during school hours.

WOLCS has established a school-based Mental Health and Wellness Task Force to address mental wellness and coping with COVID-19.  As we work together to raise awareness about mental health, reduce stigma and discrimination related to mental illness, and prevent suicides, it is essential that we take care of ourselves. Take time to breathe, meditate, exercise, get plenty of sleep and take a periodic break from the news, social media, and other sources of stress. In closing, we will continue to educate our amazing students while keeping everyone safe!

Thank you for your continued patience and support!
~ Dr. Lee
