Last week, we hosted a lunch and learn with Julie Farley of Project Beauty Share. There was not a dry eye in the house as she walked us through their mission to provide personal hygiene, cosmetics and beauty products to non-profit organizations who serve women overcoming abuse, addiction, homelessness and poverty. We also had the opportunity to hear stories about women whose lives were changed by these donations. As Julie said, “It’s not just mascara, it’s confidence.” 💄 💅 We were so inspired by this conversation that our team members immediately got to work clearing many items on their Amazon wishlist, particularly when we heard that government assistance does NOT cover items like feminine hygiene products or deodorant!
