DAUK Tax Committee Presents: Savings, Investments, and Pensions, Oh My!

The aim of this event is to educate you on the basics of savings, investments and commonly asked tax questions such as:

• Can I put savings in a UK ISA?

• How do I save for my child's future? Can I open a Junior ISA or a 529 plan?

• What's the best way to save for retirement?

• How do I invest from £5 as an American in the UK?

• How do I avoid being double taxed on my savings and investments?

• What tax implications are there with a UK employer pension as an American?

This event is for you if:

• you just moved to the UK from the US and you're unsure how to save

• you have children and want to save in the most tax efficient way for their future

• you're worried you'll get double taxed on your savings or get fined if you do something wrong, or

• you just want a straightforward answer for a specific issue
