ASTES4 HIGH SPEED SKYWAY
The ASTES4 High Speed Skyway is the fastest sorter in the industry, with the ability to sort four parts in about seven seconds. Each of the Skyway’s four sorting heads has an integrated tool changer with six different tools: dual magnet, suction cup, hybrid, dual oval and out of center.
Capable of controlling the production process from loading, cutting, sorting and unloading through to the storage of finished parts, the ASTES4 High Speed Skyway is a solution for fabricators facing the challenges of worker shortages and production bottlenecks.
Here’s how it works:
Sheets are loaded by suction cups via the Skyway from the material storage location.
After the parts have been laser cut, the Cartesian grippers independently pick out the assigned parts.
The parts are then sorted on pallets. The pallets can then be moved to the corresponding next process.
Skeletons are then removed by forks and placed in skeleton removal area.
