According to sources, the feedback of this meeting will be sent to PM Modi and the higher-ups will take a call on conducting the CBSE 12 Board Exam 2021.

Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal will announce the final decision on June 1, 2021. After that, CBSE is most likely to conduct meetings to understand the feasibility of conducting the boards in these times.

The Central government has given two options to the states.

1. State can hold exams of the major subject.
2. The exam will be conducted in schools with only Objective-type question and for a much shorter duration.

The central government has given the freedom to state government whether to decide on conducting boards in state or not depending on the Covid-19 situation.

The major entrance exams for undergraduate engineering and medicine -- JEE Main and NEET UG 2021 -- will be held as well along with the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021.

Centre is inclined towards conducting the exam and has left the state decision to the state government.

A source told India Today’s reporter Himanshu Mishra, “CBSC 12 Board Exam 2021 will be conducted. Education Minister Nishank will give information about which format will be in when and how it will be on June 1, 2021.”

The High-level meeting called by Education Minister is now over. The meeting was chaired by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and attended by Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal, Minister of Women and Child Smriti Zubin Irani, Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar, all State Education Ministers, education secretaries, and chairpersons of the state examination boards, and all other stakeholders.

CBSE extended the deadline for schools to calculate class 10 marks and submit it to the board to June 30, 2021.

The Board had earlier declared that the whole calculation method of marks will be ended by June 11. The CBSE Class 10 Result 2021 is expected to release on June 20, 2021.

Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE has launched the mobile app ‘Dost for Life’ for classes 9 to 12 students. This app will help the students to improve the psycho-social wellness of students.

Manish Sisodia also stated that all the students appearing for the CBSE 12 Board Exam 2021 are of the age 17.5 years and the central government can vaccinate all the students prior to exams.

Delhi Deputy CM, Education Minister Manish Sisodia demands that all the students are vaccinated before CBSE 12 Board Exam 2021, in the meeting.

A PIL has been filed on the Supreme Court to cancel the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 due to the surge in Covid-19 cases in the country.

Virtual meeting conducted to decide for CBSE 12 Board Exam 2021, by the education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank continues even after 2 hours of commencement.

Chhattisgarh Class 12 Board exams will be conducted in open-book format. Students can take the exam sitting at home, after collecting the question papers and answer keys from the center between June 1 and 5.

The CBSE 10 Board Result 2021 is going to be declared in the month of July. The Class 10 exam 2021 was cancelled earlier due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
