Bruce Gandy

For the last 20 years, Bruce has been one of the dominant players on the World scene, winning the Gold Medals at Inverness and Oban, the Bratach Gorm (Blue Banner) in London, The Silver Star for Former Winners and 2nd prize winner at the Glenfiddich Championships.

Duncan Millar

Duncan Millar played in the snare line of Simon Fraser University for 20 years winning four World Pipe Band Championships and four Grade 1 World Drum Corps Championships. He was also lead-drummer of the Grade 2 LA Scots for many years.

Ken Sutherland

Ken is a highly regarded piper, adjudicator and lead piping instructor for the Prince Charles Pipe Band. A few of his extensive awards include Winter Storm US Silver Medal for Piobaireachd, Winter Storm US Gold Medal and 1st at the Angus MacDonald regional championship.

Our kitchen piping contest is a one-of-a-kind freestyle solo bagpiping competition with no rules other than a 5 minute time limit.

Expect to see some of the top bagpipers in the world demonstrate their creativity, proficiency, speed, non-traditional finger work and sometimes even unexpected attire.

To support the top pipers in the world joining us from all over North America and Europe we made our event the highest prize money kitchen piping contest in the world.
