PlayVS Summer Showdown 2020: The Biggest Tournament of the Season (PRIZING UPDATE)

Look, we tried. We really did.

We tried to wait until the Fall 2020 season. But esports doesn’t wait for seasons and that means we couldn’t either. So, we’re throwing the first ever PlayVS Summer Showdown — a multi-tournament event for high school and college. Prizes? We got plenty, and we're adding more every week.

High school students will be eligible to participate in 8 regional League of Legends competitions. Over 1,000 high schools will be able to compete, and the deadline to sign up is August 28. The high school tournament starts on August 31st with a live streamed championship on September 12th. Click here to learn more and sign up.

College students will be eligible to compete in a national Fortnite tournament. More than 200 colleges will compete and the deadline to sign up is August 19th. The college tournament starts August 22 with a live streamed championship on August 25. Click here to learn more and sign up.
