I am an ISTE Certified Educator, Consultant, Author and Attorney. I teach French, Spanish and STEAM: Emerging Technology. THRIVEinEDU LLC is my consulting business and I provide PD for districts on topics including STEM, Emerging Technologies, Assessments, Blended Learning, SEL and more. I also provided individual and group coaching services. I am an Attorney, have a Master’s Degree in Instructional Technology. I currently serve as past-president of the ISTE Teacher Education Network and on the leadership team for the Mobile Learning Network. I received the ISTE Making IT Happen Award and a Presidential Gold Award for Volunteer Service to Education in 2020 2019, 2018, was selected as One of “20 to watch” by the NSBA and the PAECT Outstanding Teacher of the Year in 2017. I was named one of 30 K-12 IT Influencers for 2021. I am the author of In Other Words: Quotes That Push Our Thinking, The Future is Now: Looking Back to Move Ahead, Unconventional Ways to Thrive in Edu, and Chart a New Course. My most recent book "True Story Lessons That One Kid Taught Us is a great read for educators and includes stories from 37 educators around the world. I have a World Language Educator book , Your World Language Classroom: Strategies for In-person and Digital Instruction with Routledge and newly released Things I Wish [...] Knew (December 2021). I am a contributing author to Educational Rehab (2022), Joy Work, Education Write Now, Volume 3, EduMatch Snapshot in Education 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and Gamify Literacy, an ISTE publication.
