Lauren Teel Wins 2nd Place For The 2022 Borderless Arts Tennessee Young Soloist Award

After performing her original song, "City Girl", at The Grand Ole Opry House this evening, Lauren won 2nd place for the 2022 Borderless Arts Tennessee Young Soloist Award! Given this was Lauren's first entry for this award, she is very grateful and excited for what's to come.

Lauren Teel announced today that she has been selected to participate in She Is the Music's 2022 Connect TogetHER Mentorship Program as a Songwriting Mentee!
She Is The Music is a global nonprofit with a mission to increase the number of women in music. Their community has united thousands of women, creating strength and impact on a global scale. In order to succeed in this mission, they are committed to developing the next generation of women in music and are dedicated to serving women at all levels of their careers.
They are a collaboration powered by industry-wide representation: creators, publishers, record labels, talent agencies, management companies, industry groups, think tanks, media companies, streaming services, and more. By harnessing our strength and impact on a global scale, we champion equality, inclusivity and opportunity.
Lauren Teel Has Been Granted Candidacy For Commercial Songwriting At MTSU

This afternoon, Lauren announced on her Instagram that she had been granted candidacy into the Commercial Songwriting program at MTSU (Middle Tennessee State University) in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. She will continue pursuing her Commercial Songwriting major and Entrepreneurship minor at MTSU this Spring.
