YouTube Space is launching an exciting new global program in our ongoing initiative to spotlight female-created content and empower female creators on YouTube!

YouTube Space LA will aim to green-light at least 10 productions. From Tokyo to LA, all of the global YouTube Spaces will participate in this production program, followed by a global PR, distribution and social media campaign. Apply now to be part of this global movement and get people laughing!

The Women in Comedy Pogram will launch in Spaces from October to December 2017, and YouTube Space LA invites all creators who are interested in creating comedic content with a female focus, both in front of and behind the camera.  

Selected creators will participate in the program which features some awesome benefits including:

- A mentorship from WhoHaha and Elizabeth Banks to review your work!

- A global marketing, promotion and distribution plan that will apply to all videos created through this program
- A mega-collab opportunity to participate in the hero video with other global creators

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
- At least 50% of your video(s) created as part of this program must be shot at YouTube Space.
- The content of your video must be female-driven: comedic content that focuses on and empowers women in fron of, and behind the camera
- Your final video(s) must include the program branding (intro/outro video, end card, playlist links, hashtag, annotations, etc.) and should not be released until the official release date that will be determined in October (most likely December to  January release).
- We will ask that participating creators do not publicize their involvement in this program until the debut of the content in December 2017 to January 2018, unless pre-approved by the YouTube PR team.

All applicants will be notified on a rolling basis beginning on Wednesday, September 20 at 12:00PM EST. Please be as thorough as possible to help us better understand your creative pitch!
