I believe every creator’s talents are unique, and as many creators, bloggers, photographers, etc. as there are out there, there are also just as many business models and ways to monetize. So it’s my goal to keep my coaching to one-on-one training. I won’t leave you on your own with a workbook… it’s just us, chatting and working through obstacles to help you meet your goals.
HOW’D I BECOME A BLOGGING & SOCIAL MEDIA EXPERT?
I started my first lifestyle blog – BigAppleAngie.com – way back in 2006. I didn’t have a plan to become a professional blogger at the time of course, but my background as a publicist put me on that path long before it was something you could get paid to do. In 2010, I left my career doing public relations and social media for travel companies and destinations to go out and see the world for myself, writing about it along the way.
Fast forward more than a decade later and my site, AngieAway.com, is one of the oldest and most respected blogs in the travel and lifestyle space. I’ve learned a zillion lessons (sometimes the hard way) and found over time that blogging is about more than good content — so much more!
Navigating an ever-changing medium is no walk in the park, but my experience as both a publicist and a journalist has given me a unique look into the world of bloggers and influencers. No matter how much you love writing or taking photos, there’s more to success as a content creator than talent! I’m not going to teach you to write or take pretty photos — I’m here to help you figure out the bigger picture.
