Mobster's Bones is Troy and Alessandra's story. Coming Soon! June 30, 2015
How can things you only glimpse for a moment sear themselves into your memory? ~Alessandra, Mobster’s Bones
Alessandra has a problem. It's not that the Mafia is the only life she knows, her father and best friend being members. She's being followed. Her stalker destroys the one thing Alessandra thought they could never touch. She's now forced to flee the only home she's known, Palmetto.
How can someone be so beautiful? The morning sunlight is coming through the blinds on my window casting a glow around Alessandra. She has been here for a week, and we have fallen into a routine. It is sort of like she has always been here. Imagining her leaving, gives me an unwanted stone in my stomach. ~ Troy, Mobster’s Bones
Troy has his life planned out perfectly; graduate from Notre Dame with honors, get married, live a quiet life with his wife and kids in the suburbs. Just like his parents and their parents before them. Things don’t work out according to plan - the scaffolding of his life is crumbling before his eyes. Troy’s plans didn’t include the daughter of a mob enforcer showing up at his door and sleeping in his bed. Are Alessandra and her mafia family worth throwing away the life Troy has always wanted?

***Newest Release is Mobster's Gamble: Book 1 in the Chicago Mob Series.
I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. The opinions in this review are my own. I really enjoyed this installment in the Mobster's series. Amy Rachiele has a way with telling a story about young adults in college and the choices they are faced with. This book is fast paced and attention grabbing. I can indentify with the characters of Alessandra, Megan, Vito and Troy. I will definitely be taking another look at the other books in this series and waiting for the other books in the series. There is action, romance, suspense and more, a very good mixture of all the parts of life wrapped up in the contents of this book. I think other readers will enjoy this book and I recommend it.
This book was entirely too short. I felt that it was rushed towards the end as well. It started off great then all of a sudden it hit fast-forward.
I liked: 1. Alessandra's dad 2. When Troy meets the dad 3. Alessandra with Troy- too bad we didn't have more moments with them.
I wish that: 1. It had been a full length novel. 2. The characters had more time to develop their relationship and that she had said I love you to him. 3. The stalker was so damn obvious and guessing wasn't ridiculously easy. 4. The stalker situation had been drawn out more. 5. The time jumps had been used better.
I didn't like that: 1. Vito drew Troy into doing "favors" for him. I felt like that could have been left out to make him come back into the story. The author could have used Alessandra as the sole purpose in bringing Troy into her situation to draw him back into their whole circle and story-line. 2. After the drama, she just leaves - leaving the situation with her and Troy in an abrupt way so when he comes to see her it just doesn't work for me because once again it's a time jump and we miss all that goes on during that time frame. 3. EDITING. If there had been one, then I wish it had been edited better. I didn't necessarily feel the emotions that the author was portraying. The wording in places didn't flow well or always make sense.
I really really enjoyed Mobster's Bones. It is a great addition to the Mobster series. Amy effectively immerses the reader into the brutal world of the Mafia but is still able to make you fall in love with these hard men. It was nice to see Troy and Alessandra get their story. This book is well written with fresh scenes full of action and an intriguing story-line. My only disappointment with the book was there is limited insight in to the lives of past characters. This disappointment is no reflection whatsoever on Amy's writing just a fan missing some of her favourite characters and wanting more of their stories.
I highly recommend this book if you are a fan of this series. If you haven't read this series yet you are missing out on a story you will want to read over and over again.
I have really enjoyed this series! Since the kids are now older, this book was a bit darker (more violence). I really liked getting to see more of Alessandra! She has always been an interesting character to me so finally seeing her get her happy ending was nice. I am glad for Troy as well. I never liked Troy and Megan together but I am glad he finally got his happily ever after as well. The book is a fairly quick read too and while you could read it without having read the other books, I wouldn't. This is a great series that really has grown as the characters have. Book one starts when they are still in HS so the mob connection is really their parents. By this book, the boys are thoroughly immersed in the Mob world so its very interesting to see the difference. Heat: 1 (just kissing)
If you love Mafia books then you will definitely love this one. It has all the making of a great mafia book. I love Alessandra and Troy together. They balance each other very well. Alessandra is a mafia princess and thankfully knows how to take care of herself. She has a stalker and Troy has been chosen to watch over her. He does all this while juggling college classes. It isn't easy especially when you have his drunk friend Jake and all the mafia guys hanging around. If you're following this series unlike myself, since this is my first book by the author, then you will love the fact that you still get some of the other characters. I really enjoyed reading this book and can't wait to read more from this author.
Mobster's Bones (Mobster Series 5) Amy Rechiele 4.5 Stars
I love a great mafia book and this one was brilliant, easy to grasp who is who and I was instantly drawn in and captivated. Alessandra is a tough cookie that has a lot to deal with and she knows how to look after herself when she needs to - how cool is it that a girl can hot-wire a car!
This is a standalone and a fairly short story - I really enjoyed it, I haven't read the others in this series or anything else from this author before, I am now looking forward to reading the others in this series.
First just let me say that I've absolutely loved reading this series! If your looking for a mobster book, with alpha males and hardheaded female leads then this is the series for you.
Ever since the first book Troy and San have held a special place in my heart, I don't know why they just stood out to me. When I first started reading this book my heart broke, I wanted to cry for San. Even through of the book I felt that way. But as always Amy brings it all together and at the end leaves you happy and content.

Amy has gone and done it again! I really enjoyed this story. I was always intrigued with Troy in the other books and this showed me who he was. I really enjoyed revisiting the other characters especially Vito!
I love the mobster series and can not recommend the books enough. You really will not be disappointed
I am really enjoing this series, the characters have captivated me. Even though they are pretty young they seem so sure about where they are going and the things they want out of their life. I figured out who the stalker was.pretty quickly but it was still a really good book.
>I am an independent reviewer. This book is the fifth in the mobster series and ends with an HEA. This is Troy and Alessandra’s story. Troy is Megan’s friend from previous books. Mobster Vito seems to continually use Troy for help here and there. He explains to Troy that friends of Megan’s are “family”. It seemed to me that Vito considered Troy a friend and actually liked spending time with him. Alessandra is used to the mob way of life. She seems to have attracted a stalked right after her mom died. The stress from the stalker and a particularly gruesome statement causes Vito to stash Alessandra with Troy at his college.
>This book was gruesome, but actually one of the funnier books in the series. Vito seemed to enjoy kidnapping or scaring Troy. Troy’s classmates can’t seem to take their eyes off of Alessandra, as she is stunningly beautiful. This book is very romantic that you don’t even realize there isn’t actually any sex in it at all. The only issue I had with the story was the ending. The HEA was great, but the story went from the extreme action of Alessandra and her stalker to a mention of strife between Troy and Alessandra and then the HEA. I wish there were some scenes with Vito and Troy where Troy tries to explain his relationship with Alessandra to a very overprotective Vito.
>This book is appropriate for a young adult (+16) audience. I am giving the book 4 stars. This story was very romantic and exciting, but the ending was too abrupt.
So another short read and now with Alessandra (Sans) and Troy. As I said previously, we read 3 books on Antonio and Megan which I love by the way but then we get a short story for Erin and Vito and now another short story for Sans and Troy in a rush rush sort of a way again. I would have wanted it to be longer for them. In Megan's book you get the feeling that Troy was not interested in Sans but in this book from his POV you get a whole different view like he always thought she was beautiful and wanted her but could not have her. I didn't understand why Vito got Troy involved in his "jobs" when he showed up - that did not make sense unless he was teaching Troy to be part of the "family" but that didn't happen either so this book just didn't make sense at times. Anyway it was a good book just short and would have like to see more of Sans and Troy as a couple. Also we never got to see the wedding for Megan and Antonio as this series ended or an epilogue of all their happily ever afters for each couple. I guess I was just left hanging with wanting more of all of them.
Good Book! Mobster Bones is the fifth book in the Mobsters Series. Date of Publication: June 28, 2015. Pages: 108. This is the first book I read by this author. I enjoyed this book but wished the story was longer.
The two main characters in this book are as Alessandra and Troy . Alessandra is the daughter to one of the members of the mob . She is being stalked by someone unknown . Troy is the one now assigned to protect her, He is a friend of one of the members of the mob. Can the two of them figure out who the stalker is and keep each other safe in the process? I was told this could be read read as a standalone. I would recommend reading the other four books before reading this one. Overall I did enjoy it and recommend.
I received this book as an ARC for an honest review. This book was read and reviewed by Annamaria for Alpha Book Club.
So I have been waiting win this book and I don't know, maybe I remember it all different or maybe I was younger and liked different books. It was nice but not for me anymore. But still enjoyed it and I'm happy to see the characters again.
It was too short. I know in the previous books we read about the attraction of Troy and Alessandra but a little more from them would have been good. Totally love Alessandra! Italian women are beautiful and tough!
This has been a great mob love series!!! Troy is so sweet and has his future mapped out in his mind San is a beautiful mob daughter thrust into Troys world my madman
