Your Invitation to Trick or Treat at the Nightmare Imp’s Door (and partake of a Forgotten Runes Airdrop)
This Halloween all Forgotten Runes holders and 10 other Blue Chip communities are invited to participate in our Trick or Treat event at the Nightmare Imp’s Door.
From Friday October 28th through October 31st you will be able to knock on the door at the Castle of the Nightmare imp and receive a token airdrop of either a Trick or a Treat.
The Treats will be a Treasure Box from the Nightmare Imp himself and most will contain a storytelling item from the Runiverse. There are a little more than 100+ different (ERC1155) items of varying rarity and your box will contain one of them.
The Treasure Boxes may also contain a treat you can exchange for:
- A free Wizard
- A free Warrior
- A free Pony
- A golden candy to be used to forge a Gilded Warrior Weapon
The Tricks … well the Tricks will be a surprise. But know that they are completely non-destructive and include a token, too.
One knock at the door is allowed per token you hold for each collection.
What are the odds of a Trick or a Treat?
- Souls automatically receive 2 Treats (Treasure Boxes)
- Wizards have an 80% chance of a Treat
- Warriors have a 50% chance of a Trick or a Treat
- All partners have a 50% chance of a Trick or a Treat
As an added surprise, all partner tokens that knock on the door will receive airdropped tokens for our upcoming on-chain P2E game called [REDACTED — YOU’LL JUST HAVE TO WAIT AND SEE].

Q: What communities can knock?
A: Punks, BAYC, Doodles, Cool Cats, Azuki, Clone X, Moonbirds, Loot, World of Women, 10ktf (crafted only), and then of course Wizards, Warriors, and Souls
Q: Can anyone in the partner community knock?
A: Yes, but the supply is limited to 1,000 per partner community, first come first serve until we’re out of Treats.
Q: Does it cost anything?
A: The token is free, but you pay gas to claim
Q: What if I don’t want to connect my hot wallet?
A: We support delegate.cash
Q: Will assets in sudoswap or NFTx receive the airdrop?
A: No, not automatically. The ERC721s in these systems are, of course, eligible but because this airdrop must be claimed, these tokens will have to be removed from any pools or staking in order to knock on the door
