Fauzan and Rio are two children who live in the island of Sumbawa.
Fauzan is a 2-year-old baby who was born with a strange skin disease called Ichthyosis. This disease has no cure and requires constant treatment. On the island of Sumbawa they cannot give him the appropriate treatment for his illness, as the local hospital does not have a dermatologist doctor.
Rio is a 14-year-old boy who suffered a motorcycle accident 6 months ago and was never taken to the hospital. In this accident he suffered a fracture of several bones in the wrist of his right hand and also an open wound. The wound became infected and now suffers from Osteomyelitis (bone infection) and Osteoporosis (disease that weakens the bones). They cannot operate him in the island of Sumbawa as the local hospital does not have an orthopedic doctor.
In recent days we have brought Fauzan (and his mother) and Rio (and his father) to the island of Bali where they can give him an appropriate medical treatment.
We need your urgent help to cover the costs of medical treatments for both children.

Fauzan y Rio son dos niños que viven en la isla de Sumbawa.
Fauzan es un bebé de 2 años que nació con una extraña enfermedad de la piel llamada Ictiosis. Dicha enfermedad no tiene cura y requiere de constante tratamiento. En la isla de Sumbawa no pueden darle el tratamiento apropiado para su enfermedad, ya que el hospital local no dispone de médico dermatólogo.
Rio es un niño de 14 años que hace 6 meses sufrió un accidente de moto y nunca lo llevaron al hospital. En dicho accidente sufrió la fractura de varios huesos en la muñeca de la mano derecha y también una herida abierta. La herida se le infectó y ahora sufre de Osteomielitis (infección del hueso) y Osteoporosis (enfermedad que debilita los huesos). En la isla de Sumbawa no pueden operarlo ya que el hospital local no dispone de médico ortopédico.
En los últimos días hemos trasladado a Fauzan (y a su madre) y a Rio (y su padre) a la isla de Bali donde pueden darle un tratamiento médico apropiado.
Necesitamos vuestra ayuda urgente para cubrir los gastos de los tratamientos médicos para ambos niños.

My Name is Carlos Ferrandiz, President of the NGO Harapan Project, who is directly helping and accompanying Fauzan, his mother and Rio and his father. The funds raised will be directly use to assume the costs of flights from the island of Sumbawa to the island of Bali, the cost of the medication required by Fauzan, the costs of the surgery of Rio. And also to assume the living costs in the island of Bali until both of them are healed and we can come back to the island of Sumbawa, where they and their families belongs.
Mi nombre es Carlos Ferrandiz, presidente de la ONG Harapan Project, quien está ayudando y acompañando directamente a Fauzan, su madre y a Rio y su padre. Los fondos recaudados se utilizarán directamente para asumir el coste de los vuelos desde la isla de Sumbawa a la isla de Bali, los costes de la medicación necesaria para Fauzan, los costes de la operación quirúrgica de Rio. Y también asumir los costos de vida en la isla de Bali hasta que ambos estén curado y podamos regresar a la isla de Sumbawa, donde ellos y sus familias viven.
