1. Welcome to the Study!

This is a research study about how people experience anger. As part of this study, you will be asked to answer questions about how you experience each of the above concepts. Some of the questions will be multiple choice and some will be open-ended. The survey is expected to take 15 to 20 minutes.

Participating in this study has no known risks or discomforts, but if you do have any adverse stress or reactions to thinking about your personal experiences of anger, you may contact this study’s principal research investigator, Brandon Ramirez via email at bramirez@antioch.edu. For completing the survey, you have the option of being entered into a lottery to win one of four $25 gift cards to Amazon.com. Each participant can only enter the lottery once. We will not ask for any personal identifying information as a part of the research study, except for at the end of the study when you will be provided with the option to enter an email address that we should contact if you would like to be entered into the lottery. You may skip this part if you would like. You may also gain more insight into your experience with the above concepts by completing the survey.

Your participation in this study is completely voluntary. Additionally, once you start the study, you are free to withdraw at any time without penalty.

The information/data you provide for this research will be treated confidentially, and all raw data will be kept in a secure file by the primary investigator. At the end of recruitment, all data will be analyzed and reported in de-identified form and no identifiable information will be present.
