Premium feature: Unlimited Real-Time Desktop Notifications

Desktop Notifications for Email Tracking

Our new Desktop Notifications for email tracking are designed to alert you in real-time, if your tracked messages have been opened while you’re on a desktop computer. They’ll pop-up from your taskbar just like Gmail’s new message alert, so MailTrack.io will not change your email experience.

We want you to be informed about your email opens without having to reach for your sent emails box. For your most important messages, this will allow you to take action immediately after your recipient reads it with our real-time alerts for Gmail.

Real-time alerts for Email Tracking

How do they work?

A window will pop-up from your desktop bar in real time, whenever a recipient opens one of your tracked emails. MailTrack’s Desktop Notifications are shown in real time. You won’t have to open your sent email box when you’re expecting a very important message to be read.

What do I need to do to have these real-time Alerts?

All you need to do is have your browser open, and we’ll take care of the rest. MailTrack’s Desktop Notifications for email tracking will start popping up as soon as you have our latest version installed.

How much do they cost?

MailTrack’s Desktop Notifications are available during your MailTrack Basic trial period. Upgrade to MailTrack’s full version in order to use them without limits! You can view all of the advantages of purchasing this professional plan on MailTrack’s Pricing page.

How useful are MailTrack’s Desktop Notifications?

If you’re a salesperson, you’ll know when a prospective client opened an important message so you can take action fast! The best time to send a follow-up email or place a timely call is when the recipient clicked your email’s subject line and opened that message.

How do notifications help in the Public Relations field? In this case, MailTrack.io’s Desktop Notifications will help you in a different way. Hot and fast follow-ups is not the best advice for you. But if a journalist opens your email, even several days or weeks after you send it, you’ll know it. This can help you decide if you should stick with that journalist, or try another email address instead.

Are you simply a control freak? Well, you won’t be surprised to learn that we are, too. Yes, we’ll check anything that pops up from the taskbar, including emails, retweets, and MailTrack’s Inbox Alerts and Desktop Notifications. And yes, we love to know right away if a recipient saw the email we sent.

“But I don’t want these notifications!”

Don’t worry. We’ve thought about you 🙂 You have 2 options:

  1. Go to your MailTrack settings and turn off the Desktop Notification option, or
  2. Wait for the next notification to pop up and click on the silent icon. You can do this for a specific email conversation thread, or stop getting all desktop notifications. You won’t get any more alerts from us unless you go to your settings and turn them on again.
